Scottish Fold
Instantly recognizable for its folded ears and round owl-like face, the Scottish Fold is sweet, mellow, and deeply attached to its family. It adapts well to most homes and is quiet and undemanding. But buyers must know: the same gene that folds the ears causes osteochondrodysplasia, a painful cartilage and joint disorder affecting every fold to some degree. Adopt with eyes open.
